How futures trading fees are estimated
Entry fee = entry notional × entry fee rate. Exit fee = exit notional × exit fee rate. Total modeled fee = entry fee + exit fee.
Worked example
At 1,000 USDT entry notional and 0.05%, modeled entry fee is 0.50 USDT. If exit notional is 1,100 USDT at the same rate, modeled exit fee is 0.55 USDT, for 1.05 USDT total.
Why entry and exit rates are separate
Maker/taker status, fee tiers, promotions and exchange rules can differ between fills. This calculator therefore accepts separate rates. It does not retrieve live exchange fees.
What is excluded?
