Crypto Futures Leverage Calculator

Calculate effective leverage from position value and margin, then see how a hypothetical price move translates into P&L relative to the margin committed.

How effective leverage is calculated

Effective leverage equals position value divided by margin. A 1,000 USDT position supported by 200 USDT of margin is 5× effective leverage. The same position supported by 100 USDT is 10×.

Price movement example

For a fixed 1,000 USDT position, a 1% underlying price move corresponds to approximately 10 USDT of price-driven P&L before fees and funding. With 200 USDT margin, 10 USDT equals 5% of that margin. This arithmetic does not predict direction or execution.

This is not a liquidation calculator

Liquidation depends on exchange-specific maintenance margin, mark price, fees, collateral, margin mode and contract rules. Do not estimate liquidation simply as the reciprocal of leverage.
